Heading to Melbourne for our #WCW this week, we’re spotlighting Sadiva. She’s a 25 year old producer, singer and songwriter who stays on her grind.
Only a couple of years into her career, she started producing in 2015. Since then she’s emerged as one of Melbourne’s integral players in the sampling scene. She’s already released two albums, the latest ‘Minutes’ made Bandcamp’s ‘Best Beat Tapes of May’ list.
Giving back to the community, she’s been a co-facilitator of beat-making workshops for kids alongside Melbourne rapper, Defron. She also curated a compilation called ‘Women Of The World’. A mix tape showcasing all the finest female producers around the globe, it was released during Womens History Month and donated all proceeds to womens charities.
Sadiva is a hugely empowering figure in music. Not only is she ridiculously talented, but she’s extremely passionate and dedicated to the scene. Always supporting the community that supports her, she’s a great role model. Check out her album below!
